Welcome!

My name is David.  Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about Insider on Demand.  As the head of coaching, it is my mission and pleasure to help others achieve their greatest career goals and transform their lives in the process.

Everyone has their own vision of what a successful and satisfying life actually looks like.  I’ve personally helped hundreds of professionals overcome their greatest challenges to bring their visions to life.  Many went on to become corporate executives and leaders.  Others simply wanted a career they were truly passionate about.  Whatever success looks like for you, the team at Insider on Demand is dedicated to helping you create advantages and open doors to the future you deserve.

My Background

My career began like many recent college grads.  I had a degree in my pocket, an entry level job, and big dreams of becoming a corporate titan.  But it was a slow start, bouncing around to different jobs, putting in long hours for less than stellar income.  I’ll never forget receiving a 10-cent per hour raise and realizing it was only an extra $200 per year (not 60 years ago, this was in the early 2000’s).  It was a wake-up call that I was doing something terribly wrong.

Shortly after that challenging day, I made a decision.  Degrees and work experience weren’t worth much if I couldn’t figure out how successful people became successful.  I got to work interviewing top performers and executives, reading every relevant book I could get my hands on, and experimenting with new strategies at work.  That process transformed my career and my life.

4 Strategies That Changed Everything

1)  Learned how to change careers at will

Once I cracked the code, I switched multiple times.  The first major career change was because I didn’t enjoy my job (and the 10-cent raise was infuriating).  All future transitions were part of a larger career plan I laid out for myself.  I had big dreams and refused to let a stagnant position, company, or industry hold me back.

2)  Hired a professional coach

I discovered that some of the more successful people I was losing advancement opportunities to had professional coaches working for them.  My first coach helped me realize how I was holding myself back and more importantly, how to fix it.  My confidence and career skyrocketed. 7 years later, I was leading a professional staff of 120 across 5 states, and responsible for $500 million in revenue.  I had advanced from Entry Level Analyst to Regional VP in record time.

3)  Started coaching others

I realized that no one is successful on their own and started coaching at work.  Not the company-required mini performance reviews or working sessions pretending to be coaching.  This was the real thing, and the results of the participants were impressive.  Helping others achieve outrageous success (bordering on offensive) became my new passion.   It also led to having one of the most effective departments in the company and a powerful peer network backing it up.

4)  Meditation & mental excellence

I have practiced meditation for over 25 years.  When I started using it at work to manage stress and solve impossible business challenges, it got people talking.  After witnessing far too many dangerous health emergencies at work, I began teaching meditation for stress management and mental excellence in a corporate capacity.  Stress could literally kill you and that was unacceptable.  Amazing focus and mental sharpness were added benefits.
